Q:  What is Permanent Makeup?

Permanent Makeup is the process which sterile cosmetic pigments are placed under the dermal layer of the skin by the use of individual sterile needles.

Q:  Is it painful?

The treated area is numbed with a topical anesthetic cream or gel to make your experience a pleasant one.

Q:  How long does it take?

After the numbing cream has taken affect, eyeliner takes 45 minutes and lips take 2 hours. Eyebrow take half an hour. Eyeliner and eyebrows can be done in 1-2 sessions. A lip treatment takes 2-3 session to complete.

Q:  It is permanent?

The pigment used is of the finest products and will soften in color over time (between 1-3 years) by anti-aging creams and sun exposure. An annual touch up is recommended.

Q:  Is there swelling?

The area is treated with highly effective numbing cream or gel that is safe for the eyes and lips. Some clients may experience swelling depending on their skin’s sensitivity.

Q:  How safe is it?

The art of tattooing has been practiced for centuries. Minako takes regulated procedures such as individual disposable needles, gloves and masks to ensure safety. She also educates her clients on how to keep the treated area clean while it’s healing.

Q:  How long does it take to heal?

Eyebrows and lips will take 2-3 weeks to heal.
